OUR PROGRAMS
Because COAFs staff is so small, and its goals so big, the organization has always adhered to a core guiding philosophy - to make a real difference, we should not try to duplicate existing services. Instead, our role should be to serve as a professional development resource, providing training, materials, and other resources needed by those who work with children on the front lines. COAF also recognizes that not all children in need are hooked up with professionals who can help them. So we make sure that basic information about parental substance abuse is readily accessible to children and adults.
