CHILD DEVELOPMENT INSTRUCTOR

YOUR ROLE 

If you are an active and creative professional who is experienced in working with children aged 3 to 6 years old, then COAF SMART Center’s Child Development Instructor’s role is a perfect role for you. Your duties will include:

Implementation of Child Group Development and Early Learning Programs (50%)

  • Conduct group development work with preschool children․
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of the children to identify development disorders and peculiarities.
  • Ensure a safe, creative, and imagination-boosting working and learning atmosphere.
  • Create individual development plans for each child and fill in the relevant documents by generating an electronic database.
  • Develop and implement various group development programs․

Work with Parents (30%)

  • Prepare different materials for the development of parenting skills and conduct exercises, meeting-discussions on upbringing, child development, and overcoming problems with the parents.
  • Regularly inform parents about the work with children by making them direct participants in the activities.
  • Conduct personal meetings with parents in order to inform them about the success, and progress of the child and discuss joint work programs.

Individual Consultation (20%)

  • Conduct individual consultations with preschool children.
  • If necessary, provide parents with individual consultations about the difficulties of the child and ways to overcome them.

Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that employs community-led approaches to improve the quality of life in rural Armenia, with a particular focus on children and youth. COAF’s target development areas are education, health, social and economic development. SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

YOUR ROLE

Your duties will include:

Strategic leadership and collaboration (40%) 

  • Lead the brand development, storytelling, and marketing strategy advancing COAF’s mission through different channels.
  • Oversee specialized marketing functions and team members including content, digital marketing, and events management to ensure that initiatives reflect consistent and compelling messaging, program positioning as well as general audience and donors’ voice.
  • Manage the creation of all donor-related communication materials (brochures, flyers, booklets, one-pagers, pitch decks, presentations).
  • Increase the visibility of COAF’s work among various stakeholders.
  • Expand strategic communications partnerships with the public and private sectors.
  • Use innovative marketing strategies to build relationships, enhance reputation, and strengthen COAF’s brand.
  • Manage the overall communication on key events including fundraising galas, dinners, and other events.
  • Oversee key brand partnerships and engagements as well as advise on and undertake marketing execution.

Media and reputation management (20%)

  • Work towards enhancing and building the organization’s reputation by constantly measuring the effectiveness of strategies.
  • Oversee and manage digital platforms assuring proper monitoring and analysis.
  • Build, maintain, recover, and promote Fund’s online presence.
  • Manage mass media relations ensuring COAF’s continuous presence on local and international media platforms (TV, radio, newspapers, eNews).

People Management (40%)

  • Lead and mentor COAF’s communications team.
  • Build and develop relationships with team members to further their work, provide guidance and increase efficiency across the team.
  • Co-create company culture, motivate and empower employees (including helping them to reach their deadlines and KPIs).

  • Master’s Degree in journalism, PR, marketing, communications, international relations, management, or other relevant fields from a recognized university.

  • Accounting of fixed assets and materials.

  • Issuing invoices within the E-invoicing system.
  • Control over debts and credits.
  • Preparation and presentation of reports to the direct manager and the managing director.

VISITOR CENTER CLEANING TECHNICIAN

YOUR ROLE

If you like cleanliness and order, enjoy it when everything is set up properly, then the position of Cleaning technician at COAF Visitor Center (Children of Armenia Fund) is a perfect role for you. More specifically:

Service (85%)

  • Provide the external and internal cleaning of the center’s main hall, toilets and the premises.
  • Ensure the tiredness of ideal cleanliness of all areas and amenities, proper arrangement of items.
  • To maintain the cleanliness of the bathrooms, while monitoring the availability of hygiene supplies (soap, paper towels, air fresheners, etc.) in the restrooms, and to notify the appropriate personnel if any of these are inadequate, the restroom isn’t working, or there is a malfunction.
  • Gather the garbage and transport it to the designated place․

Suggestions (15%)

  • Come up with proposals aimed at increasing the efficiency of the Center’s cleanliness and arrangement․

Information management (25%)

  • Provide visitors with information about the history, culture, resources, traditions, customs, heritage, and the whole touristic offer of Lori, Debed Canyon, including the attractions, museums and galleries, outdoor activities, eat and stay locations
  • Inform about the activities, events, and startups occurring in Debed Canyon.
  • Properly present the activities, general mission and strategy, program directions, components, approaches and geography of COAF.

Administrative Duties (60%)

  • Provide exceptional customer service and promote visitor satisfaction using professional communication skills.
  • Disseminate up-to-date and accurate information concerning Debed Canyon and SMART campus events, activities, and services.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries, properly present and provide information about the rentals, products for sale, prices and other available services.
  • Regularly communicate and request for updated information from private, public, community, regional and international organizations providing services and products in the field of tourism.
  • Regularly update an electronic database, and social media platforms and visitdebedcanyon.com website.
  • Continually re-stock products and amenities provided throughout the Visitor Center and recycle out-of-date products.
  • Provide stock data entry into the platform by registering the received and consumed products.
  • Handel the payments and work with payment systems strictly following the accepted terms and procedures.

SMART BUSINESS & OPERATIONS MANAGER

YOUR ROLE

If you are a highly motivated, dynamic, and operations-experienced individual who is ready to ensure the flawless operations of our COAF SMART Center in Lori, Armenia – liaising with the HQ in Yerevan then being COAF (Children of Armenia Fund) SMART Center’s B&O Manager is a perfect role for you. Your duties will include:

Business and Operations (70%)

  • Manage the overall COAF SMART business & operations teams and facilities – including the Center, the Concept Hotel, and the Visitor Center
  • Safeguard and maintain business assets and equipment, which include company cars, IT equipment, and other utilities across all domains
  • Develop the annual budget and its management including cost efficiency
  • Interface with local counterparts such as local government bodies and COAF partners (Security, Cafeteria, Transportation, Garbage collection, etc.)
  • Suggest and initiate strategic partnerships with other organizations and individuals
  • Make regular visits to communities, as well as organize meetings between teams and local stakeholders
  • Continuously develop management and leadership skills through coaching/mentoring support from COAF and other potential external sources
