VIDEOGRAPHER & EDITOR

YOUR ROLE

If you are creative, passionate & self-determined, and have experience in shooting & editing various videos, then being COAF’s (Children of Armenia Fund) Videographer & Editor is a perfect role for you. More specifically:

YOUR TEAM 

You will be joining the Communications team of COAF and will work under the leadership of COAF Communications Manager. We are expecting more and require that:

YOU WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS 

  • Create and produce high-quality content that includes video, motion graphics, animation and still photography, covering COAF programs, activities, events and promotional materials,
  • Come up with video concepts, create storyboards before the shooting,
  • Plan, develop, and execute the shooting and production of exceptional content that captures the heart of COAF’s mission, and the rural communities of Armenia,
  • Manage camera operation, lighting, and sound, as well as all talent direction both on location and on-site,
  • Assist in the strategic development of initiatives involving video production, motion graphics, and animation,
  • Edit video for a variety of lengths and a variety of platforms,
  • Manage digital footage archive,
  • Maintain consistency of the brand and adhere to brand standards with all content,
  • Maintain equipment,
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in video production and storytelling.

YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional background in videography,
  • Knowledge and practical use of contemporary video editing tools and software,
  • 4+ years of experience in video shooting and editing,
  • Creative mind and a team player,
  • Good IT skills,
  • Excellent knowledge of the Armenian language,
  • Highly organized, responsible and detail-oriented personality,
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines,
  • Readiness to frequent travels (sometimes overnight) to the villages of Armenia.
  • Advanced knowledge of video storytelling,
  • Shooting and editing skills in a documentary-style,
  • Storyboarding,
  • Production of high-quality work on tight deadlines,
  • Pitching of ideas in a compelling manner,
  • Advanced use of all video equipment (including microphones and lights),
  • Advanced editing ability (video and sound).

ACCOUNTANT

YOUR ROLE

If you are flexible and motivated, have experience in accounting and are able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, then being a COAF (Children of Armenia Fund) Accountant is a perfect role for you. More specifically:

YOUR TEAM

You will be joining the COAF Finance team and will work under the leadership of the Finance manager. We are expecting more and require that:

YOU WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS

  • Accounting of fixed assets and materials,
  • Accounting of received and given grants and donations,
  • Calculation and payment of salaries,
  • Recording of payments to service contractors,
  • Processing of received invoices,
  • Preparation of payment orders,
  • Issuing invoices within the E-invoicing system,
  • Control over debts and credits,
  • Preparation and presentation of reports to the direct manager and the managing director,
  • Submitting reports to various state organizations as needed.

YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in accounting, economics or finance,
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting,
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax legislation,
  • Knowledge of the Labor code,
  • Practical knowledge of AS-Accountant software,
  • Being an ACCA student is compulsory,
  • High communication and teamwork skills,
  • Ability to orientate quickly,

DENTIST

YOUR ROLE

If you are eager to work in the rural communities, skilled in modern dentistry, ready to work both with children and adolescents, and able to commute visiting villages three days per week, then being a COAF (Children of Armenia Fund) rural dentist is a perfect role for you. More specifically: 

Prevention and treatment (80%)

  • Treatment and filling of superficial and deep cavities of baby teeth and permanent teeth
  • Extraction of baby teeth, if needed
  • Counseling of children and parents on proper tooth brushing, healthy eating, oral hygiene
  • Follow up to the orthodontist, orthopedist or surgeon, if needed

   Administrative work (20%)

  • Data entering and daily updates in the shared drive
  • Quarterly data analysis for better results
  • Sanitary and hygienic control of the dental unit
  • Collaboration with the Foundation’s social workers and beneficiary communities, physicians to identify new cases and for further follow-ups

PROGRAM MANAGER

YOUR ROLE

COAF is growing fast and we are looking for new professionals to join our dynamic team. If you have enthusiasm for our expansion plans, have extensive knowledge in management along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, an understanding of community development programs, influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment the role of Project Manager at COAF (Children of Armenia Fund) is a perfect fit for you.


Your duties will include:

FEASIBILITY STUDY (40%)

  • Conduct feasibility studies, including economic, technical, legal, operational and scheduling considerations as well as any potential constraints (logistical, legal, financial, etc.)
  • Define project requirements, prepare scopes of work, project delivery resource requirements, budget, work plan schedule and milestones, quality control, and risk identification

STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION (30%)

  • Engage and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including government, NGOs, schools, medical facilities, community centres, parents, children, and other target groups
  • Raise awareness about COAF’s humanitarian assistance programs and activities and ensure the exchange of program information
  • Provide routine report updates and liaise closely with COAF’s Armenia office

PROJECT MANAGEMENT (20%)

  • Oversee and direct large scale projects from conception to completion in cooperation with government stakeholders and partners
  • Perform other organizational and administrative functions, as required by COAF Armenia senior management team
  • Travel as needed

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT (10%)

  • Manage team workload guaranteeing work quality & high productivity
  • Monitor your teams’ performance by providing regular feedback
  • Support your teams’ continuous professional growth & motivation
  • Ensure communication flow between your team & other actors

You will be joining the SMART Rooms team (by a Service provision contract) in Mets Ayrum (Lori region), Koti, Aygehovit, Vazashen (Tavush region) and will work under the leadership of SMART Rooms Coordinator. We are expecting more and require that:

YOU WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS 

  • Develop curriculum and lesson plans for the Math program to strengthen mathematical and logical thinking. Duration of the course: 4 semesters 14 weeks each, frequency: twice a week
  • Facilitate the classes based on the curriculum and lesson plans for 4-6 grade students. Group size: max. 15 students
  • Collaborate with instructors in other communities, share professional experience
  • Participate in COAF-initiated thematic training and network with the rest of COAF program instructors
  • Strongly promote students’ participation in thematic contests, olympiads
  • Full usage of IT equipment and possibilities available in SMART rooms

YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Higher education or specialized training in Mathematics
  • Teaching experience in Mathematics-related fields /formal or non-formal/
  • Skills and ability to work with children and to motivate them
  • Smooth spoken and writing skills in Armenian, good knowledge of English and Russian will be considered an advantage
