Welcome to the first SMARTConnects of 2020. This time our guest was Mark Grigorian, a longtime BBC Russian Channel reporter and the former Executive Director of Public Radio of Armenia.

Meet Davit Gyumishyan, a French University graduate with a Law degree and… a successful specialist in 2D and 3D animation, video production and editing. He is the founder and Managing Director of Self Studio.

Meet Lilit Madatyan, 15, from Sarnaghbyur. She hardly knew anything about theatrical art before joining the COAF project My Theater in Sarnaghbyur. “I, technically, knew nothing about that area,” she admits.

Meet Manushak Avagyan, 25, a medical graduate from Lernagog and a Yerevan-based Yeolyan Hematology Center resident. Also, she is a member of COAF Alumni Association.

Borderline villages in Tavush often have poor quality of life and very basic educational opportunities for kids. To fill in that gap, COAF launched the project of SMART Rooms as part of the SMART Initiative to transform rural Armenia by leveraging technology and education.
