Hands-on education of local health providers and revitalization of the health facilities for high-quality implementation of primary health services
COAF doctors work with village family doctors and nurses by providing hands-on training throughout their practice. When working with the primary healthcare providers in the villages, COAF focuses mainly on pediatric care, ensuring high quality professionals in health facilities monitor child health, necessary care, implement school health screenings and control infection spread.
We also renovate health facilities and provide those with necessary materials, supplies and equipment. Continuous medical education (CME) of rural health providers offers additional opportunities to improve their professional knowledge and skills. COAF has established a long-standing partnership with skilled Diaspora Armenian or foreign doctors often visiting Armenia as a group or individually to provide their support to rural doctors in the way of training, joint examination, and discussion of complicated cases.
