The goal of the Program is to become acquainted with the profession of “sound design”, its application areas, ideas about sound wave properties and characteristics, sound effects, recording, sound editing.

Methodology: Analysis of examples of soundtracks for famous films, acquaintance with sound phenomena and practical editing work through GarageBand.

Topics: Analysis of sound patterns in films, sound wave properties, sound recorders, sound formats, sound effects, sound editing, tooling (GarageBand).

Program Outcome: Re-animation of a short animated film.
