Yerevan Marathon 2026 and COAF: Supporting Sports Opportunities in Rural Armenia

On October 17–18, runners will take to the streets for Yerevan Marathon 2026, with COAF serving as the event’s charity partner. Through the partnership, a portion of registration proceeds will support COAF’s sports programs at the COAF SMART Center in Lori for children in rural Armenia.

The marathon, organized as part of a broader series of events taking place around COP17, has been confirmed by the Government and Municipality as an initiative promoting healthy lifestyles and mindful living. In addition to the contribution made through registrations, individual runners and supporters will have the opportunity to make an additional donation when signing up for the marathon.

For COAF, the partnership brings together two shared priorities: encouraging active, healthy lifestyles and creating greater opportunities for children in rural communities. The funds raised will contribute to spaces and programs where children can develop physical skills, confidence, teamwork, and a lasting appreciation for sport.

Every runner’s participation can become the beginning of a new opportunity for a child.
