COAF (Children of Armenia Fund) is looking for a Barista to join the team at our Visitor Center by COAF in Lori. If you’re friendly, enthusiastic, and excited to represent one of Armenia’s most scenic regions, this opportunity is for you!
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warmly welcome and serve customers at the Visitor Center café, providing guidance on available products and services.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the café.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, including sandwiches, baked goods, coffee, and tea.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work and café areas.
- Inventory and store delivered supplies, and restock items when needed, following proper storage guidelines.
- Continuously study and learn new methods for preparing and serving food and beverages to improve quality.
- Regularly update product displays and signage.
- Follow all food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Record sales data in the program and track product inventory.
- Accept payments and operate payment systems, strictly adhering to established procedures and policies.
- Support other center functions, including the sale of additional products as needed.
- Provide visitors with comprehensive information about the full tourism potential of the Debed Canyon.
- Ensure polite and professional service, enhancing visitor satisfaction through effective communication skills.
YOUR TEAM
As a barista at the Visitor Center, you will join COAF SMART’s Business & Operations team, reporting directly to the COAF Visitor Center and Tourism Project Manager.

- Armenian, English, and Russian (both written and spoken),

WE ARE
The “Children of Armenia” Charitable Fund (COAF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization aimed at improving the quality of life in rural Armenia, with a particular focus on children and youth. COAF’s target development areas are education, healthcare, child and family services, as well as social and economic development. COAF launched its programs in 2004, starting in one village and expanding to 82 villages and communities across the country with an investment of more than $70 million, impacting well over 107,000 people across rural Armenia.
Since 2015, COAF has developed and started implementing SMART Initiatives. COAF SMART is designed to advance a generation across the rural world through education that will benefit individuals, societies, and the environment. COAF SMART is an exemplary model of development and is presently being replicated in other regions and communities throughout Armenia. The first COAF SMART Center was inaugurated on May 27, 2018 near the village of Debed, Lori Region.
