Follow the journey of Davit from Khnabad village in Artsakh — one of the thousands of children who have faced the blockade, wars, and forced displacement. Davit and his family have now settled in Lori, Armenia.
On October 25th, during the Global Gateway Forum in Brussels, COAF secured a generous €10 million grant. This substantial funding will enable the creation of two cutting-edge SMART Centers in the Syunik region.
On September 19, 2023 Azerbaijan launched a large-scale military attack against the Armenian population of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) targeting critical infrastructure and killing children, women and elderly.
COAF Fest: Arts, Music, and Crafts, held at the COAF SMART Center in Debet, Lori Province, was a celebration of all things Lori, drawing in more than 5,000 guests to the region.
This back-to-school season, COAF will build a new school in Debet village, Lori region, to provide quality education enriched by innovative teaching methods for diverse learning needs.
On August 28, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan paid a visit to the upcoming regional health center in the village of Dsegh, in Lori province.
Summers at COAF signal the end of our regular educational cycle and the start of our SMART Summer Programs. These programs give our students a chance to put their SMART Center learning to practical use.
“Everything is fine; we’re not hungry, we’re just eating healthy.” This is how the people of Artsakh, who have been under blockade for almost 9 months, jokingly describe their situation.
Prior to attending SMART, Garik was engaged in all sorts of activities, like karate, wrestling, dhol (Armenian drum), and Armenian folk dancing.
