Empower rural youth with access to learning English
Join us this spring in offering English language classes to over 3,500 students in villages across Armenia. Thanks to the partnership between COAF and the US Embassy, over 5,550 students from 42 rural communities have learned English since 2011. Teaching English has been essential for gaining insight into new cultures, offering countless opportunities for international educational programs, and advancing future careers.
* 100% of your donations will go towards providing educational materials for one full year of English classes and continuing the success of these programs.
COAF’s English education programs are designed for both students and teachers. Through these programs, public school teachers unlock English language learning, teacher development, and tap into the invaluable ability to inspire students to learn – making the impact of our programs long lasting and sustainable, as these teachers will then empower countless students, year after year.
Our work on developing new learning content is also a significant part of our initiative, equipping our newly trained teachers with the highest standards in English curriculum and helping them shape 21st century skills in their students.
With our after-school education program, we offer rural youth an opportunity not only to significantly improve their English language but also foster democratic values, personal growth, the desire to contribute to community development, and intercultural competence.
Despite increasing interest in learning English, many rural areas lack access to quality language education. It’s our goal to bridge this gap.
By supporting our English programs, you’re investing in advancing language skills, while also broadening the future trajectories of Armenia’s youth. Thank you for sharing our vision to provide quality English language instruction throughout Armenia’s most isolated rural regions.
Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that employs community-led approaches aimed at improving the quality of life in rural Armenia, with particular focus on children and youth.
